Born in Zimbabwe and later moving with his family to South Africa, Tony has had a long career as one of South Africa's premier guitarists. He has performed all over the world on some of its finest stages and festivals and has won several awards for his recorded works. Tony began teaching even before he became a performer and has never lost the connection to it, hosting workshops in schools, colleges, universities and even in people's homes whenever he performed in a new city or town. A master of fingerstyle guitar, Tony's teaching highlights just how versatile the style is as applied through a multiplicity of genres and technique. Tony, along with his family, are now resident in the UK.
